Angharad Thomas

Angharad qualified from Cambridge University in 2011 and has worked at Fivelands since 2014. Angharad works at both Hall Green and Moseley practices, takings consultations three days a week and performing dental extractions and dental x-rays on Tuesdays or Thursdays. She is currently studying a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Dentistry.

‘I see a lot of elderly patients with kidney or thyroid disease. Many of them had painful teeth and gums so this inspired me to study for a Certificate in dentistry so I could offer them the most up-to-date treatment options and support their owners with home care.’

Angharad also performs ultrasound examinations and offers in-house microscopy which assists the rapid diagnosis of skin tumuors and infections.

When Angharad is not working she is usually found entertaining her two young children.
